Clock Radio

A clock radio is a clock that can be set to start playing at specified times or designed to make a loud sound at a specific time. The primary use of these clocks is to awaken people from their night's sleep; they are sometimes used for other reminders as well. To stop the sound, a button or handle on the clock is pressed; but most clocks automatically stop the alarm sound if left unattended long enough.
The Si4840/44 Analog-Tuned Digital Display Radio Receiver is the first wheel-tuned digital-display CMOS AM/FM/SW radio receiver IC that integrates the complete receiver function from antenna input to audio output to enable wheel-tuned radio designs.
