Ventilating and Air Conditioning System
An automotive heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system is an excellent application for the C8051F5xx automotive microcontroller family. The ADC variable attenuation feature is very useful when interfacing to a variety of sensors. Communications are through the integrated LIN 2.1 controller that operates off the internal 0.5% precision oscillator. Add to this the built-in 1.8 V to 5.25 V LDO regulator, and you have a high performance system solution at a very low cost.
