Treadmill
In a typical consumer treadmill, the Si823x ISOdriver and Si84xx/Si86xx digital isolators interface with a C8051F3xx MCU to control the overall system or to isolate and drive the motor's power stage. The Si84xx/Si86xx digital isolators provide isolated communications between the heart rate sensor and user display. Since ISOdrivers support isolation ratings of up to 5 kVrms, they are well suited for use in safety critical consumer products where compatibility with universal power supplies is required.
