The video router acts like a switchboard for video signals, routing video signals from one place to another. SDI reclockers are used to de-jitter the signals before routing them to their final destination. Silicon Labs XO/VCXOs can be used to provide low jitter reference timing to the SDI reclockers. The Si5355 can be used to provide reference clocking to the crosspoint, CPU and other system components.
