Video Server

A video server (also referred to as video encoder) digitizes analog video signals and sends digital images directly over an IP network, such as a LAN, intranet or Internet. The video server allows storage of live video so that it can be transmitted at a later time or mixed in with live video from another source.  The Si5324 can be used for genlock in video servers.  The Si5355 can be used to provide reference timing to the image processor, storage media and CPU.
