Wireless USB Adapter

Wireless USB Adapters are used to transfer data to and from a PC via a USB interface. They can be found in many different products from health and fitness equipment to home automation systems. There is an RF transceiver that is connected to a USB microcontroller by an interface such as a serial peripheral interface (SPI). The MCU manages both the USB communications as well as the wireless protocol stack. Advanced USB microcontrollers such as the F32x, F34x and F38x can also provide a regulated DC supply to power the RF transceiver.
