FM Radio Transmitters

The Si471x FM radio transmitter ICs are the industry's first 100% CMOS, single-chip FM transmitters with Receive Power Scan (RPS). The Si4712/13 devices leverage Silicon Labs’ proven FM receiver architecture and offer unmatched integration and performance, allowing FM transmit and FM transmit with RPS to be added to any portable device using a single chip. The Si471x ICs offer industry-leading size, performance, low-power consumption and ease of use.

Digital integration reduces the required external components of traditional offerings, resulting in a solution requiring only an external inductor and bypass capacitor and PCB space of approximately 15 mm2. The devices provide high reliability in device manufacturing, improved quality, easy design-in and software programmability.
