Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
The custom oscillator utility allows you to specify a custom silicon or crystal oscillator and build a part number in minutes. If you are re-ordering, you can look up a currently existing product by part number.
Look up Existing Part Number
Enter the exact part number (e.g., 530AC12M0000DG) into the field or use the drop-down menus to select the part number, and then click "Next." Invalid entries will result in an error. Part number entries are not case sensitive; you may enter either lowercase or uppercase letters. If you do not know your part number, check your shipping documents or contact your local sales or distributor representative.
Create New Part Number
Follow the screens to specify your requirements and build a custom part number that you can order from your local sales or distributor representative.
Narrow Part Selection
If desired, select a frequency type, oscillator type and/or package from the drop-down menus. These options are not required. Choosing selections will simply help to narrow the choices presented.
Select Product Family
Click the radio button next to the product family that most closely matches your application requirements for frequency, jitter performance and frequency control, and click "Next."
Refine Part Specification
Select the output format, supply voltage, stability, frequency range, start-up frequency, I2C address in hex format and the package size. Click "Preview Configuration" to see a summary of your selections before ordering the part. The system will verify that the part number does not already exist. Click "Next" to preview the configuration details.
Specification Summary
The specification summary shows all of the options selected on the previous screens and includes a link to the data sheet for the part family selected. If the summary matches your expectations, click "Next" to continue, or click "Start Over" or "Go Back" to change your selections.
Request Part Number
Enter your contact details and information about your project. Click "Request P/N" to initiate the part number (P/N) request and create the part number in our system. You can then order that part number from your local sales or distributor representative. Click "Buy Now" to purchase online. Note that you must complete the check out process in the shopping cart in order to sample or buy devices.
