A unique aspect of this development board is that it has two C8051F580 devices on a single board. This enables the designer to develop a fully functioning LIN 2.1 master/slave network with a single piece of hardware. A host PC is required to run the development kit software and communicate with the debug adapter. The PC must meet the following system requirements:
Windows 2000 or later
One USB port
Silicon Laboratories' development kits include advanced debug features enabling the user to fully develop and integrate hardware and software design.
