Designing Power Efficient Embedded Systems
The Designing Power Efficient Embedded Systems seminar presents system design techniques to increase the power efficiency and maximize the battery life of a mixed-signal embedded system. Also, the new Capacitive Touch Sense technology incorporated in the C8051F93x is discussed during the training. The ToolStickdevelopment platform is used to demonstrate low power techniques, single battery operation and implementation of Capacitive Touch Sense switches.
The new C8051F93x MCUs with 0.9 V operation capability, 25 MIPS CPU, 10 Bit ADC, and hardware smaRTClock enables low voltage applications powered by a single-cell battery.
This is a free half-day seminar featuring the following topics:
- Discussion and implementation of system design techniques for maximizing battery life
- Detailed overview of C8051F93x single battery operation mode and DC-DC Converter
- Demonstration of the Battery Life Estimation Tool
- Detailed overview of Silicon Labs Capacitive Touch Sense Switch Technology.
- Capacitive Touch Sense hands-on exercise
- Open forum and opportunity to “meet the experts” and discuss real customer applications
- Seminar leaders to assist in loading software tools onto customers' personal laptops
