The Si3052 and Si3054 are integrated silicon direct access arrangements (DAAs) with a peripheral component interface (PCI) (Si3052) or an HD Audio/AC-Link interface (Si3054) that offer global compliance through a programmable telephone line interface.
The DAA chipset (Si3052/54 and Si3018) is fully programmable for AC and DC termination, ringer impedance and ringer threshold and it supports billing tone detection, polarity reversal and pulse dialing, enabling it to meet the most stringent global PTT requirements. The Si3052/54 also offers a number of enhanced features including ring validation, integrated call progress, speaker driver and internal PnP IDs and system lock-up protection. The Si3052 also supports a low-cost 32.768 kHz clock crystal, contains a 32-bit, 33 MHz, PCI 2.3 compliant interface and supports PCI Power Management Interface (PPMI) 1.1 with wake-on-ring. The Si3054 also offers SDATA_IN switching and external 14.31818 MHz clock support. The small number of external components needed with the Si3054 allows new types of combo-function cards to be realized in very small form factors.
