The Si3226/27 Dual ProSLIC ICs provide a fully-integrated dual-channel SLIC and codec in a single chip solution. The Dual ProSLIC ICs leverage Silicon Labs’ patented digital SLIC architecture to achieve a globally compliant, carrier-grade SLIC solution complete with extensive remote diagnostic capabilities, low power consumption and the industry’s clearest voice reproduction in its class.
The Si3226/7 family is optimized for enterprise and consumer equipment such as voice-enabled cable and DSL modems, fiber to the premises (FTTP) optical networking units (ONUs) and PBXs in accordance with all relevant LSSGR, ITU and ETSI specifications.
The Si3226/7 ICs operate from a single 3.3 V supply and interfaces to standard PCM/SPI or GCI bus digital interfaces. The linefeed ICs (LFIC) perform all high-voltage functions and operate from a 3.3 V supply as well as high-voltage battery supplies: Si3208 (110 V) and Si3209 (135 V). The Si3226/7 ICs are available in a 64-pin thin quad flat package (TQFP); the Si3208 and the Si3209 ICs are available in a 40-pin, quad flat no-lead package (QFN).
An application programming interface (API) is available to accelerate and simplify code development.
