C8051F336 Small Form Factor MCUs
With on-chip power-on reset, VDD monitor, watchdog timer, and clock oscillator, the C8051F336/7/8/9 devices are truly stand-alone system-on-a-chip solutions. The flash memory can be reprogrammed even in-circuit, providing non-volatile data storage, and also allowing field upgrades of the 8051 firmware. User software has complete control of all peripherals, and may individually shut down any or all peripherals for power savings.
C8051T600 Small Form Factor MCUs
With on-chip power-on reset, supply monitor, watchdog timer, and clock oscillator, the C8051T60x devices are truly stand-alone system-on-a-chip solutions. User software has complete control of all peripherals and may individually shut down any or all peripherals for power savings. Code written for the C8051T60x family of processors will run on the C8051F300 mixed-signal ISP flash microcontroller, providing a quick, cost-effective way to develop code without requiring special emulator circuitry.
C8051F36x Small Form Factor MCUs
The new C8051F36x devices enable precise analog measurement as well as high-speed processing and communication in a fully integrated mixed-signal 8-bit MCU. These qualities make it ideal for applications that require parameter sampling, information processing and communication functions within an embedded system. These include motion control and communications in consumer and industrial products.
8-Bit Automotive MCUs
The C8051F52xA and C8051F53xA families of MCUs are the most functionally dense 8-bit automotive qualified (AEC-Q100) MCUs on the market and offer a superior level of integration, performance and features over competing solutions. All devices are designed to operate across the full automotive temperature (–40 to 125 ºC) and voltage (2.7 to 5.25 V) range. The C8051F52xA family is the first to combine a ±0.5% integrated precision internal oscillator with 8 kB Flash, 25 MIPS, 12-bit ADC, dedicated LIN 2.0 controller, 16-bit timers/PWM, SPI, UART and six or 16 I/O lines in small 10-pin QFN, 20-pin QFN and TSSOP packages.
USB ToolStick Development Platform
The USB ToolStick platform is a fully contained evaluation and development system in a USB stick form factor that demonstrates Silicon Laboratories' easy-to-use development tools.
Using only a PC with a USB port, designers can fully experience the Silicon Laboratories software development environment in conjunction with the MCU on-chip debugging hardware that allows full, non-intrusive access to the C8051F CPU, peripherals and memory.
The software development environment consists of the easy-to-use Integrated Development Environment (IDE), editor, debugger, Flash programmer and a demonstration version of the Keil compiler.
Advancing Small Form Factor MCUs with the New C8051F41x Family
The new MCUs integrate up to 32 kB Flash memory and high-performance analog peripherals, including a SmaRTClock with failsafe recovery features, into a compact 5x5 mm package. The C8051F41x also offers versatile voltage supply from 2 to 5.25 V with an on-chip programmable voltage regulator and up to 5 V tolerant independent I/O voltage control.
Single-Chip Ethernet Controllers
The CP220x is a single-chip Ethernet controller containing an integrated IEEE 802.3-compliant Media Access Controller (MAC), a 10Base-T Physical Layer (PHY), and 8 kB of non-volatile Flash memory available in either a 28-pin QFN, or 48-pin TQFP package. The CP220x can add Ethernet connectivity to any microcontroller or host processor with 11 or more port I/O pins.
Embedded USB Made Easy with New MCUs The USB MCUs feature an on-board USB 2.0 function controller with an integrated transceiver and on-chip clock recovery. No external resistors, crystal, voltage regulator, EEPROM or other components are required. On-chip resources include a high-speed 8051 CPU with up to 64 kB Flash, UARTs, SMBus, SPI, timers, counters and PWM generators. On-chip analog features include a multi-channel 10-bit ADC, voltage reference, internal oscillator, comparators and a temperature sensor. They are available in 28-pin QFN, 32-pin LQFP or 48-pin TQFP packages.
C8051F316/7: Smallest Mixed Signal MCUs with 16 kB Flash and 10-bit ADC
These highly-integrated MCUs are the smallest in the industry to offer 16 kB Flash memory in a new 4x4 mm, 24-pin QFN package. On-chip peripherals also include a 10-bit 200 ksps ADC, Vref, 2% internal oscillator, temperature sensor, comparator, UART and SMBus™. With 1280 Bytes of RAM, these compact devices are ideal for space-constrained applications such as camera modules, cellular phones and gaming machines where memory, communication protocols and small size are essential.
