Now that we’ve learned how to program the BGM111 Bluetooth Smart Module, it’s time to get our first look at BGScript, a simple scripting language component of Bluegiga’s Bluetooth Smart Software.

What makes BGScript special is its ability to run stand-alone applications directly on the module or dongle, eliminating the need for an external microcontroller. In this episode, James Langbridge takes us step by step through the SDK installation and gives a thorough explanation of the different files located within the installation folder. He then walks us through the creation process via one of the demos included in the SDK.
