The forum is operating at a extremely slow speed - sometimes a post or load can take over five minutes. Please fix and delete this entry.
sometimes a post or load can take over five minutes. If I remember correctly this behaviour occurs since the main website (www.silabs.com) changed to secured http protocol.
Please fix and delete this entry. I doubt that it will be fixed - if they want to fix it they'd have done it earlier. However, I assume (or at least hope) that they're working on a new forum or extension to this forum regarding the new 32-bit MCUs, and fix the above issue also.
I approached MCUtools about this with the following (paraphrasing) the forum saves you a lot of effort when people post in the forum instead of mailing MCUtools/MCUapps. Thus it should be in your interest to make it pleasant to use, please upgrade it, at least from snail to turtle
I did get a 'watered down' answer, but Nothing happened.
during this discussion, it actually run at turtle speed
Yeah, the second we discussed the speed in the 381/Keil thread, it sped up. Hmmm... Wonder why? :-)
Erik and Erik,
We've recently upgraded both the forum server and the forum software. Hopefully you guys will notice a speed and responsiveness increase. Furthermore, we are now (thankfully) able to increase our forum participation as well.
comments on the new forum
1) MUCH better 2) I would like it to go to the top of a thread instead of the bottom. reading just the bottom - which I TRY not to do - may reasult in repeating or missing what is above.
Thanks, Erik. I agree. I've tinkered around with the forum settings (as well as the very handy 'My Preferences' controls that each member has access to), but I haven't found anything which can change the 'default' perspective when you open a topic.
