CP2102N detected as CP2133 on AN223SW - GPIO write/read fails

Hi,
I have Windows 10 64-bit machine and a custom board with CP2102N on it.
The board works normally when using the UART and Windows detects the IC properly and uses driver version 10.1.8.2466.
Also, reconfiguring the GPIO0 and GPIO1 as TX/RX toggle works fine with Simplicity Studio V4.2 and the pins works as intended.
In addition I would like to use the GPIO2 and GPIO3 to control power on additional peripherals on the board. To test the board I planned using the AN223SW to toggle the IO's.
Unfortunately the AN223SW does not seem to work properly with the CP2102N. The CP2102N is detected as a non existing device "CP2133" and reading or writing the GPIO latches fails.
Has anyone faced similar issue and is there any fix or replacement to the AN223SW ?
The CP21xx Customization Utility is legacy software and CP2102N is not supported by that Utility. Currently, we recommend using Xpress Configurator from Simplicity Studio to program the device. You can find more information on this from KBA link below:
