Hi,
I have been attempting to evaluate the CP2615. I have tried on my mac and pc desktop. The USB device is recognized by both systems. On the mac, it will not allow me to select as an audio output device. On the pc, it says it needs drivers. For PC, where can I find drivers? Also, I thought drivers were not needed as CP2615 adheres to USB Audio 1.0 spec.
Any help or trouble shooting would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Victor
CP2615-EK Mac and Win10 Issues

@victor3 CP2615 is a composite USB device with three interfaces: HID, Audio 1.0 and Serial Interface. HID and Audio are natively supported by most of OS. Can you see the CP2615 device in the Device Manager on your Win 10 machine?
@Jiehui I have attached a screenshot of my device manager. I see the CP2615 listed under "Other Devices".
@Jiehui I tried it on other PCs today at work same issue as the screenshot. Also, I tried it with three separate android devices and it did not work. There must be something I am doing wrong. I have followed the documentation on the website. Please advise on what I can do to resolve this.
Thanks,
Victor
@victor3 Thank you for your testing and update.
Have you installed Simplicity Studio v4? If yes, please update it to the latest version which should support CP2615 configuration using Xpress Configurator tool and try to program the CP2615 with default configuration via mini USB cable, then test it again to see if it can enumerate as a audio device successfully or not.
@Jiehui I have tried to program CP2615 via CP2112 USB port. I keep getting config errors. See screenshot for details.
Your CP2112 is showing up as a CP2112, instead of a CP2615 kit adapter. I think you can resolve this by programming the CP2112 with a PID that corresponds to the 2615 kit. Try opening an Xpress Configurator project for the CP2112 and changing its VID/PID to 0x10C4/0xEA93.
@BrianL I was able to change the VIP/PID. I went to try to program the 2615 kit via the CP2112. I got the same errors for set and get config.
I opened a technical support case and it appears the board maybe faulty. A new board is being shipped out. I hope the new board is able to work right out of the box.
Thanks for your help.
I have the same issue:"other device", should I ask victor3 how can slove the issue, thanks.
