I have a mess! I have a new win 10 computer and can not install the drivers I have been on the phone with support for Windows and they are asking if this driver will work with win 10 Build 1809? Who can answer this? There telling me that if not I may have to re install win 10 with an older build version. I have spent 2 days loading all my software for my business and now there saying it may have been for practice, lol any help here please

It seems Microsoft has pushed out a recent update that is breaking support for the USB debug adapter. We are working on it . We will release a new driver once we solve the issue.

I did not heard of that the VCP driver would not support this build.
by the way, the issue Victor mentioned here may have effect on Silabs HID class product (for example the UDA and toolstick).

Ok so at this point I guess I just set back and wait? And when your team has a new release, will I be informed through this post? Or do I need to keep checking back on your site? And I really don't the real work flow or importance level of this but are you thinking a few hours, or a few days, or weeks or months? And insight would be a great help. Thanks David

Definitive answer: Yes, CP210x Driver works with Windows 10, build 1809.
Build 1809 is also known as RS5, it came out in Fall 2018. Although not strictly necessary, we have a policy/goal to re-Certify the VCP driver against this twice-per-year Windows 10 Updates within one month of the release. RS5 was released, pulled back, released, pulled back, so there was a bit of churn, but yes, VCP v10.1.5 (and subsequent releases) has been (oldname)"WHQL-Certified" on 1809. RS6 should be released by Microsoft in "May", and we hope to follow that release by re-Certifying VCP on it shortly thereafter.
The VCP driver is released though Windows Update, so as we re-release it, you can get it there.
