Ya know, the CP2114 USB-to-I2S bridge would be a lot more compelling if it wasn't limited to 48 kHz sampling and 16-bit word size.
I purchased the dev.board for CP2114 with CS42L55 CODEC. I managed to get digital audio from PC intgo the earphone but not from AIN (MIC in) into the PC. I tray with windows XP and 7. I selected the audio card properly (I beleive).
My concern is that at this moment I have not capabilities to use embedded software commands. I would like to know if you would advice me an application for Windows where I would set all parameters of the Audio Codec CS42L55.
In one month from now I will have my software engineer, but for now I need to test the board via a windows application only.
May be the internal PGA or MUX were incorrectly set and I need to restablish a good connection
Thnaks for your support. The product looks good and will be part of the production line (both CP2114 and CS42L55) in Febraury next year
