Normally CP2615 switches to high power power and runs at full speed with audio streaming, the typical power consumption is about 20 mA.
Lowe Power (Idle) Mode
The CP2615 enters low power mode when both the audio and serial I/O interfaces are idle. In this mode, USB is connected but not suspended, CP2615 is still functional and responsive on the USB bus but is drawing less power. It is around 7 mA.
LOWPWR, LOWPWRb output signals can be used to switch power to other circuitry to save power.
Suspend Mode
The CP2615 enters USB Suspend mode when it is powered and USB is disconnected or USB activity is stopped by the connected USB host. This is USB-specified power mode.
The Suspend mode is the lowest power consumption mode for CP2615.
SUSPEND, SUSPENDb output signals can be used to switch power to other circuitry to save power.
