when i connected EFM8UB evaluation and try to run sample code i am getting
J-Link V6.10G Error
communication timed out: Requested 4 bytes, received 0 bytes
could not start CPU Core(errorcode:-1)
how to overcome from these problem???
Could you check the power switch on the STK to make sure it's set to 'AEM'?
yes it is set to AEM Mode ,actually device is connected but when i upload code in evaluation board that time error is coming ,do u think some file is missing in simplicity studio or problem in evaluation board??/
Did you even try to upgrade the J-Link FW of the evaluation board ? And how about the FW version of your board.
Do you have any other boards on hand, and how about the performance of others ?
Could you also try erasing the device in the flash programmer after updating the kit firmware (if that doesn't work) ?
If neither of those work, I would open a support ticket to see if we can get your kit replaced. It might also be helpful if we could get your kit to see what's gone wrong with it.
My Board is EFM8UB1 Universal bee kit (ST2000A)
Curently i am using EFM8UB11FI6G(24 pin)on custom board ,i have pcb ,when i connect my custom board everything is working fine and when i connect the evaluation board it is showing error cpu core not detected
@BrianL when i try to erase it is showing same error ,communication timed out
And your kit is in Debug Mode: MCU when you attempt to connect to the chip on the kit?
