Is it possible to use debugger virtual comm port feature on this board (debugger): https://www.silabs.com/development-tools/mcu/8-bit/efm8bb1lck-starter-kit? I want to use UART(tx-P0.4, rx-P0.5) through VCP for serial communication with PC.
The UART interface TX and RX lines are not connected to the target ToolStick debugger out-of-the-box. You will need to bridge solder jumpers J7 and J9 on the LCK to connect P0.5 and P0.4 pins to the Toolstick debugger's UART interface.
Download and install Toolstick Terminal: www.silabs.com/products/development-tools/software/8-bit-8051-microcontroller-software#toolstick
Finally, open Toolstick Terminal, connect to the device (should appear in the connection window as "LCK#######", where # is the device serial number), and send and receive data through the GUI's transfer windows.

I know "Toolstick Terminal" and I have tested it. It's OK, but I have many windows apps that communicated trough serial port. It's no big problem to connect external rs232 level IC, but if it was VCP will be more universal communication option with board!
Further, beware that Simplicity Studio and the Toolstick Terminal cannot connect to the device at the same time. And Simplicity Studio doesn't have the terminal integrated either, I've asked for that a year ago already.
