I would like to setup an automatic test system for a z-Wave device which is base on the ZGM130s. Basically I would like to be able to add the device to the network and interact with it in some form of scriptable way. And it needs to run in a linux environment. Is there any way that is achievable? 

Can I interface the UZB-7 dongle easily with some command line application?

I have some questions though:

• Is it the `--metadata` parameter in the .gbl file generation command that tells the bootloader to pass the data to `MetadataCallback`?
• In the KB here they have the `--compress lz4` parameter in the .gbl generation command. Should it only be used for Z-Wave .bgl file?

We are having a very similar case where we need to be able to update a main Atmel MCU. I would also like to know if it is possible and possibly how this can be handled?
