CP210x driver v10.1.4 : Issue with Windows 10 and USB 3.0
Thank you both for your answers.
I cannot give any step by step instructions concerning how to reproduce the problem as it has been flagged by one of our customers, and I cannot reproduce it myself.
The device on the board has not been customized, this is a standard application of USB / RS232 virtual com port.
I will get in touch with our customer and see if he can try the procedures above :
- Uninstalling / reinstalling driver
- Reinstallation of USB root hub

CP210x driver v10.1.4 : Issue with Windows 10 and USB 3.0 on
One of our customers reported a strange error with CP2101 driver on Windows 10 :
When trying to install the drivers, an error message indicates that the device cannot run on USB 3.0 port.
Here is a screen caps (sorry, it's in french). Translation would be something like this :
"Silicon Labs CP210x USB to UART Bridge is an anterior USB peripheral which cannot run with USB 3.0. Connect the peripheral to an available USB 2.0 port, then click on Next. Else, click on Cancel."
I cannot check this issue as I do not have a computer running Windows 10, with USB 3.0 ports.
Any idea or workaround concerning this issue ?
Thanks for your help !
