Are there any plans to update eclipse to a newer version?
Hi, Joel, You are right, the Eclipse version in Simplicity Studio 4 *is* quite ancient now. We are overdue for a framework update and we will fix that this summer with a new version of Simplicity Studio that will include Eclipse and CDT upgrades to the latest stable versions. We are also working to fix other UX issues within Simplicity Studio and across all our developer tools, docs, and enablement. Jim and I pull information from these Community Forums to help us identify and prioritize issues. It is also very helpful for you and the other Community members to complete this short developer survey (in case you haven't already): https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/SLIOTDXC. Thanks for your question and your feedback, Michael |
