For stream issue, you can poll server before writing to it because server might close connection. see stream_poll

I cannot reproduce issue about netmask 192.168.4.x. How often this issue happen? can you try someother devices like windows or iOS. Can you try to update to latest firmware 2.3.1 that recently released (update command: dfu_update -b 2.3.1)

Before running setup_web you can set IP range your own by following command:

set softap.static.ip 10.10.10.1

One more question, what version did you have this issue? We're trying to reproduce this but not success.

In the next gos version (4.2.4), the DFU will return a status message in machine mode "DFU Status: <code>" look like:

dfu_update --multi
S000020
DFU restarting ...
L000011
Rebooting
DFU status: 1

You can see the dfu status returned code here

Please be informed. You can prepare the host for waiting that message.

Did you edit the .mk file in your project home directory, add a line

$(NAME)_RESOURCE_MANIFEST_PATH := resources/manifest.cfg

then edit manifest.cfg points to correct files name.
