I guess you are working on BG22 thunderboard?

I am wondering if you could route the clock to a pin, if you see the clock on the pin as expected, it confirm the crystal works.

I got the solution on this page and issue is resolved . The ble heap size is increased now and long write operations work fine.

I am using the ULFRCO for watchdog and it doesn't work.

How you determine it doesn't work?

It looks you are using the example here, I suppose it should work. But I am not sure if the stack itself already have used (occupied) the watchdog or not.

This appears to have been an oversight.  I have filed a ticket to get this corrected. 

As a possible workaround, have you tried creating a project for MGM210P032JIA, this has an soc-btmesh-empty project?  I was able to generate a buildable project with the following steps.  I wasn't able to test it on a BGM210P032JIA, so this is only proposed as a experiment until we have a proper solution.

• configure the vcom instance of USART io stream.
• 
• Change part define in project properties
• 
• Change part dependent include
• 
• Change all device dependent linker paths EFR32MG21 -> EFR32BG21
• 
• Remove  technically we you should replace platform\Device\SiliconLabs\MGM21, but I would first establish if the above helps
