I have downloaded the SimplicityStudio_v4.gz file and ran the setup.sh script and it worked successfully but when i run the script run_studio.sh it says cannot open display(see the attachment for the error) which is reasonable then how can i run Simplicity Studio?
I do not see an attachment. So you are logging into the machine remotely and want to run Simplicity Studio that way? Simplicity Studio is an Eclipse based program so it is normally run as a GUI. I believe if you can enable X11 forwarding for your login connection you can run Simplicity Studio remotely. You can find out how to do that by doing a Google search, this link is one example: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/19589844/set-up-x11-forwarding-over-ssh
I haven't tried this myself with Simplicity Studio, but I have done it in the past with other GUI programs running on Linux.
There are also options to do command line builds using Simplicity Studio, but the installer first needs to be run to add the necessary components and SDKs beyond the base platform that is included in the installer. If you are interested in that let me know after you get Simplicity Studio installed. Silicon Labs currently does not have a method to do a full Simplicity Studio install headlessly.
Is there still no headless method to do a full install of Simplicity Studio? I would like to run it in a docker container and be able to periodically update that docker when relevant Simplicity Studio components are updated.
