I try to install Simplicity Studio v4 on the Archlinux that on the VMware, unfortunately Simplicity Studio occur error as fllow image. Does anyone konw how to solve this problem?
So you are trying to install Simplicity Studio in a VMware Linux machine? Did you follow the steps outlined in the README.TXT file? Which distribution of Linux are you using? Silicon Labs tests the Linux distribution using the latest Ubuntu LTS release (currently using 16.04). Also what is the host operating system being used - from the screenshot it seems like the MacOS is involved in this use case.
First, thank you for your reply to me. Yes, I intend to install Simplicity Studio in a VMware Linux, the distribution of my linux is Archlinux. In addition, my host OS is 64bit Win10 and only becase of the VMware Linux desktop use a seems like MacOS style theme.
When I install Simplicity Studio, I download a install script on https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/simplicitystudio/ that it will help me to resolve dependencies that occur during installation. But, after install the Simplicity Studio, I tried to download some libraries for developing EFR32 devices, unfortunately, it appears the problem in the screenshot above.
Please forgive me, english isn't my first language.
Since the link you provided is maintained by people outside of Silicon Labs I am not sure that we will be able to provide much assistance. You should post your question to the comment section of that link.
But if you generate a zip file of the Simplicity Studio Logs - [Help] > [Report Bug...] make sure "Export Simplicity Studio log files" is selected, then hit [Next] twice and [Finish] and upload the resulting zip file to either this Community Forum thread or else to a support case created through your Silicon Labs account then I will take a look at it to see if I see anything obvious. It could be that the Simplicity Studio resources provided by that link are out of date with the latest files provided by Silicon Labs and they may not be compatible.
