We are considering using Si53344 in one of our designs but are concerned about the Propagation Delay of 650 - 1050 ns that is shown in the datasheet. This value seemingly wouldn't support the 1250 MHz maximum frequency so we were wondering if this is a typographical error in the datasheet - that perhaps the Propagation Delay values shown are in picoseconds rather than nanoseconds. Can you confirm the correct propagation times for these parts?
Just post feedback here from SF
ns of propagation delay is a typo. It's picosecond as unit.
We will update this in datasheet later.
I'm also considering using si53344 in one of our design and was bothered because of the propagation delay of 650 - 1050 ns which is too big.
So I understand it is a mistake which shall be fixed to "ps" instead "ns" ??
