I'm running 8 bled112 dongles using a Dell 3930 rack PC. Upon bootup, the dongles don't consistently start correctly. I'm having the same issues as this post.
I never found a solution. Has one ever been found?
Could you please describe in more details step by step what process do you go through on your PC? Are you performing a restart of the computer when the device is active and is sending data for the com port?
Also which firmware version does your module run?
rebooting the PC or shut down and starting up shows this issue. I'm using the driver from 11/15/2009 (5.1.2600.0)
I'm running some python code (when the dongles work) to communicate with my devices, which works reliably but when I disconnect, sometimes the dongles lockup and aren't accessible also. I rebooting typically fixes these but occasionally after a fresh start they aren't accessible.
I'm using devcon to force a restart but sometimes it reports "reboot required".
We have had a similar issue reported and a test build prepared. As you have already submitted a private case we will provide it for you via internal ticket.
