I'm using Simplicity Studio V5 with BRD4184A kit and Gecko SDK Suite v3.1.0.
I can open the soc_thermometer example, compile and upload it to the device but I'm not able to run the application as expected. The debug session does not stop at main().
Sorry, it might be a silly question but why is the Bootloader necessary for this application?
For which other applications / demos would it also be necessary? Only for the BLE?
by default our BLE applications require a bootloader, it can start the application and it can upgrade the application in several ways, such as using UART, SPI, Bluetooth (OTA, our term for Over The Air download), and so on. It has other features as well, such as handling multiple storage slots, verifying images, and so on.
