I'm comparing in the ref manuals the pin associations to the WSTK of the eval boards BRD4301A (for BGM113) and BRD4300A (for BGM111).
Looks like the BGM113 one does not include the DBG_SWO pin. Am I right?
If so, any workaround to be able to use the 'printf' capability of ITM / SWO ?
Seems that you are correct.
looking at the BRD4301A schematics, the SWO line is available as test point (TPJ3:TP_DBG_TDO_SWO). Default SWO pin PF2 is used as VCOM CTS (or alternatively SENSOR_ENABLE). This is also available as testpoint (TPJ7: TP_VCOM_CTS).
If you don't need VCOM or SENSOR_ENABLE then I think one potential workaround would be to add a jump wire that connects the two testpoints TPJ3 and TPJ7 on the bottom side of the radio board.
SWO can also be mapped to alternate locations PB13 / PD15 / PC11 but that does not seem to help much in this case.
