There is a Knowledge Base post (https://www.silabs.com/community/wireless/proprietary/knowledge-base.entry.html/2019/04/23/low_duty_cycle_mode-LI50) which talks about configuring RAIL for low duty cycle, to save power.
Please advise on whether this is available on the Flex Connect SDK, the intention being to have the Sink in low power sleep state for most of the time and wake up periodically to check for valid data on the air. The Sensors will be Sleepy End Devices in a star network (as provided by the Flex Connect SDK).
Low duty cycle demo project is based on RAIL and it is not available for Connect for the Sink to wake up periodically to enter receive mode.
Perhaps you can place the sink into low power mode for some time by enabling sleep/idle plugin to save more power.
