I have purchased a WGM110 starter kit and trying to do something with it and a Raspberry Pi. I have an HTTP server running on my RPi and would like to see this as well on any host connected to my WGM110 (I am aware the RPi already has a WiFi module, but my idea is to incorporate this into an embedded Linux device with no WiFi capability without doing a HW respin so doing a simple test for now). Is it possible to do this with the equipment I have? From reading the WGM110 API documentation I am not sure how to get started with this. I am thinking I would need to write an application using the BGAPI calls which would send/receive the TCP packets whenever a user wants to request my HTTP server. I am not sure if I am tracking down the right path with this, as I am also aware the WGM110 has its own TCP/IP stack so when connected to my RPi it does not really show up as a "network interface" in ifconfig.
I think that such configuration should be possible.
If you are new to WGM110 then I would highly recommend to firstly visit our technical resources website which available under the following link: https://www.silabs.com/support/resources?query=wgm110
There you may find all the necessary documentation to get familiar with the WGM's commands and possible was of configuration. Along with the SDK there are also a few sample configurations which you might find useful.
It might also be a good idea to get familiar with the BGScript which you may want to use additionally to your application. There is a guide for this also available: https://www.silabs.com/documents/public/user-guides/UG170_BGScript_UsersGuide.pdf
