I'm working with the ZigBee Minimal sample project and I can't find the option for debugging. If I right-click in the project and chose debug as from the menu, then I get:
What do I need to do to be able to start a debug session so I can put breakpoints and step through the code?
Yes, the project is generated and compiling. I can run just fine it on my board and have CLI access and everything. I just need to initiate a debug session as opposed to just flash and run the code on the target.
I get the error shown in the image on my first post when I do that.
One difference I see between your image and what I have is that you have a "- Debug" build configuration but my project only has a "- Default" build configuration. How do you make SS5 generate a Debug build configuration?
Well, I don't know what happened, but I just created another project with the steps you mention and it is working now. Maybe the project got corrupted or something.
The only difference now was that I started a new project from the Project > New > Silicon Labs AppBuilder Project... and the project that was generating the error was created from the Launcher perspective. I don't think it has anything to do with that, but now the new project is debugging just fine.
Thanks for helping!
