In the "MGM210P Mighty Gecko Module Data Sheet", a "DECOUPLE" pin is listed in the "MGM210P Module Pin Definitions" (table 6.1).
But, there is no recommandation about which capacitor must be provided for this DECOUPLE pin.
In the BRD4308A and BRD4308B schematics, nothing is connected to this DECOUPLE pin.
Whre can we find any recommandation for the decoupling to be provided when using this module?
In the document "EFR32MG21 Mighty Gecko Multiprotocol Wireless SoC Family Data Sheet", there is a reference to a "DECOUPLE" pin where a capacitor of 1uF should be connected as mentionned in "Table 4.2. General Operating Conditions".
Is-it possible to have the schematics of the MGM210P module to check if this capacitor is already included or if we must add it?
There are no connections needed on the DECOUPLE pin and the capacitor is included in the module. The datasheet is in error and is in the process of being updated to reflect the correct requirements.
Ok, thank you.
Do you know if there is a Layout Design Guide for the MGM210P modules that explain the hardware requirements? (external power decoupling, RF matching, etc.)
