The Si34061-GM PoE+ controller is part of the Si3406x family of powered devices ICs and provides the industry’s most highly-integrated, IEEE 802.3at Type 2-compliant, PoE PD interface and pulse-width-modulated (PWM) switching regulator. By continuing industry leadership in device integration, lowest overall BOM cost, efficiency and reliability, the Si34061-GM enables designers to easily add PoE+ functionality to their Ethernet products.

The high-power Si34061 PoE+ PD offering includes all key PoE+ features to implement a Type 2 PD for the most demanding Class 4 applications. It is suitable for indoor/outdoor IP Cameras, Wireless Access Points, PoE Lighting Luminaires, control panels, and more. With support for bypass of on-chip transistors, the most challenging thermal situations can be addressed.
