Si3483 PSE Power Management

Offering many configurability options, the combination of the Silicon Labs Si3459 and Si3483 allows a product designer to effectively manage port power on a system-wide level, reducing power supply sizes and providing robust response to power supply failures.  Precision system power management is activated when the Si3459 is teamed with the Si3483 power management controller IC. While the Si3459 is capable of supporting stand-alone power management algorithms and I2C-based queries a designer has implemented on their host controller, the Si3483 offers a convenient way to implement power management without time-consuming algorithm development.
