Low Jitter Crystal Oscillators (XOs)

Silicon Labs' low jitter crystal oscillators were the industry’s first low jitter, any-frequency XOs.  These devices provide excellent jitter, very short lead times, and high reliability making them ideal for applications such as networking equipment, base stations, storage area networks and broadcast video systems. Devices in this family are available with single, dual, quad, and I2C-controlled configurations and support a frequency range between 10 MHz and 1.4 GHz with a typical phase jitter of 0.3 ps. Taking advantage of patented DSPLL® technology,  these devices use one fixed crystal and Silicon Labs’ proprietary DSPLL synthesizer to generate any frequency across this range. This solution also provides superior supply noise rejection, simplifying low jitter clock generation in noisy environments.
