As a company that’s built its reputation on developing products to bring connectivity to an ever-expanding world of electronic devices, we have a tendency to celebrate the engineering accomplishments we’re part of.
Fortunately for us, innovation extends beyond our labs. Nestor Ho, now one of our vice presidents, was our first in-house attorney in 2003 and he was recently featured in Texas Lawyer. His perspective on being solutions-oriented is a direct reflection on our culture.
Nestor describes how he approaches his work as a problem solver first, which sounds a lot like our approach as a company. Having degrees in both engineering and law certainly speaks to Nestor’s work ethic, but it also uniquely qualifies him for his role protecting the company’s intellectual property. He’s also been instrumental in our acquisition process, working with CFO John Hollister on negotiating those deals.
The article also highlights how Nestor strikes a strong work/life balance by coaching (and playing) soccer and spending time with his wife and three kids.
