The data sheet for the Si823x does not show lower quiescent currents when DISABLE is active.
Is this an omission or are the input and output side quiescent currents really unchanged when the device is disabled?
The DISABLE pin allows the controller to hold both driver outputs low asynchronously to the input signals. It is not acting in a power down function since the input remains active and the outputs are controlled (driven low). So there is not a significant reduction in quiescent current.
Thanks. Your answer was nice and clear.
