Issues bundling the CP210x VCP Driver installer (v10.1.10) with proprietary project installer...
Hi Jesper Jakobsen, Thank you for posting your issue here. As said, we are not familiar with the Wix tool and our Installer standalone works fine, so just to keep the post here to see if anyone have experience with the Wix tool and can help. Regards, |

CP2102 VIO voltage
Hi Kevin Angus, Because CP2102 there is only QFN-28 package and also It doesn't have VIO pin, so I'm assuming that you are referring to CP2102N-QFN24. We don't have any application notes on 1.8 Volts on I/O, however, information regarding VIO pin you can find from datasheet below:

CP2102n Device gets unresponsive after a period of time randomly.
Hi Hitesh Rohila, Thank you for sending the information. Yes, it is helpful to investigate your issue. From your SCH, I find one thing that can cause the issue or even damage CP2102N that is you are connecting RSTb pin direct to VBUS. Please refer to section 2.1 from datasheet below for typical connection https://www.silabs.com/documents/public/data-sheets/cp2102n-datasheet.pdf Also you may find below KBA be useful: Could you please update your design and verify the issue? Unselected an answer for
CP2112 not recognized as USB device
I don't think the package marking on top of the device indicate the firmware version. You could take a look at the datasheet, section 5.3 say 040H is trance code. |

Hi Hitesh Rohila, To support your case, could you please provide some information as below: 1) Whether you are testing using your custom design, our evaluation board or any third party board? Please send SCH/Layout if this is your custom design? 2) Which is your current port setting, ex: baud rate, flow control? 3) How many board/part have you tried with and how many of those had the issue? 4) Have you tried to do loop back test by connect TX to RX on CP2102N?
