Wrong 5-digit PIN during S2 inclusion
@TonyQ: I noticed the word 'may'. Wondering why "KEX Fail" frame could NOT being sent out? Or, under what circumstances such a frame could be sent out 100%? Is there a bug or something? We tried hard to try to produce such a frame, but failed. Failure in producing such a frame results in UX degradation (4 minutes just too long). |

Z-Wave 700: OTA of End-Device
@DrZWave: Well... Signing OTA image using an AES key does not make sense to me. Signing and authentication verification should be done by ECC-P256 key pairs. What is the boot sequence of encryption and firmware signing? The Z-Wave chip would use the AES key to decrypt the image first and then verify authentication? Or the other way round? |

Does 500 series support secure boot and firmware signing? What about 700 series?
No, I don't think you can customize the Z-Wave bootloader. If you have specific request about bootloader in next generation Z-Wave products, I'd recommend you to either contact local sales or raise a support ticket. |

Thanks @TonyQ. If I interpret correctly, secure boot feature is not supported in 700 series. 1. Am I able to customize the bootloader to run my version of secure boot? 2. Also, what is the plan for official bootloader support as Gecko Series 2 does for Zigbee? |
