Low Power Contest
Technically, it has not been published in any contest, just the forums but I understand that you want new projects. Thanks for the clarification. |

Can projects previously submitted to the forums be submitted for the contest or does it have to be something new just for the contest? |

AN0042 USB/UART Bootloader on STK3700
I found another similar post and the issue may be that I overwrote the bootloader. |

AN0042 USB/UART Bootloader on STK3700 on
Forum
Hello,
I am trying to get AN0042 working on the STK3700. From my understanding the bootloader comes preloaded on the MCU. I plugged a USB cable into the Micro USB port on the STK3700, but I am not getting any activity indicated from dmesg on my Linux host. I am getting power as my circuit runs when I plug in the cable and the board switch is set to USB. I tried tying DBG_SWCLK high as noted in AN0042 and still nothing showing up in dmesg. Is there anything else I have to do to get the MCU USB device to show up? The mini USB port on the board shows up in dmesg and the appropriate driver is subsequently loaded. However in the case of the micro USB port I am not even getting to the stage of the USB device being recognized. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks, -Nick |
