When I try to open Simplicity Studio it doesn't run if I don't run it as admin. I get the error:
I have tried uninstalling it and installing again as admin, but that didn't work either.
I am trying to run a build script on a headless Simplicity Studio according to application note AN1121SW, but I haven't been able to do that either due to this error.
It should not be necessary to run Simplicity Studio as admin. Please provide more details of the installation, such as the operating system being used and the location of the installation. If Simplicity Studio is installed into the default location then it will not be necessary to run it as administrator.
On Windows installing it into the "Program Files" folder can cause issues due to the permissions of that folder. Likewise on Linux if it is installed into a folder owned by 'root', there will be similar issues.
