When I installed Simplicity Studio, I successfully logged in for the first time, but the software prompted me to log in again, otherwise I would not have permission to access the SDK. But the login interface can't come out, just like the following, what's the matter? I installed it in a virtual machine. There is no problem with the network and you can go online. No anti-virus software installed. The firewall is also turned off.

Hi Wang Mengmeng,
Silicon Labs is sorry for the issues you are having signing into Simplicity Studio. We are having reports of this issue from a few customers and we are trying to track down the cause. To help our investigation please answer these questions:
1. What operating system and operating system version is being used?
2. What happens when you click the Terms and Conditions at bottom of dialog, what browser pops up?
3. When you click Help -> Help Contents does the page open normally?
4. Can you change the system default browser and try to sign in again, does that change the behavior at all?
Silicon Labs does provide offline installers and they can be used to get Simplicity Studio and the required SDKs installed. If you would like to use the offline installers, at least until this Sign In issue is resolved, let me know and I will escalate this forum thread to a support case and give you access to the offline installers and instructions on how to use them.
Thank you,
jpitt

Hello:
1.Windows7 ultimate.
2.A window will pop up'SIMPLICITY STUDIO TERMS OF USE AND PRIVACY STATEMENT'.Browser is IE8.
3.The help interface can be opened normally.
4.I changed my default browser to Firefox, but I still couldn't log in.
I installed it on a virtual machine. But it shouldn't make a difference.
Thanks.

Hi Wang MengMeng,
I have escalated this community forum thread to a support case and I will email you additional information through the support case. We think we have figured out the root cause of this issue, but we need to get some testing involving installing an update to the platform code to test it.
Thank you,

Hello,
I also just installed the Simplicity Studio. I can't log in, connected devices aren't fond and also it's not possible to download a SDK manually.
The following will address the most common issue I am seeing with Signing In / Installing Simplicity Studio assuming a Windows 10 installation.
Please exit Simplicity Studio and use a text editor to edit the studio.ini file located in the Simplicity Studio installation directory (C:\SiliconLabs\SimplicityStudio\v5\ - or v4) and add these lines to the end of the file:
-Djavax.net.ssl.trustStore=NUL
-Djavax.net.ssl.trustStoreType=Windows-ROOT
Then start Simplicity Studio and try to sign in again.
And to summarize when using Windows 7, besides adding the above lines to the studio.ini file, it is normally necessary to install Microsoft Internet Explorer 11 (https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=41628) (not Edge, they are different browsers). Internet Explorer does not need to be the default browser on Windows 7, it just needs to be installed. Installing IE 11 has solved the issue on all Windows 7 computers as far as I know.
Thank you,
