I have been using Thunderboard sense2 for real-time monitoring of Temperature, Humidity, VOC where I am using RPI to extract data from TBS2 using Bluetooth. However, I found that the device got powered off after nearly 7 hours of continuous usage with a battery (CR2032). Is 7 hours the expected lifetime of the CR2032 Battery? If yes are there any methods where I can improve the lifetime of the battery?
Usually the capacity of CR2032 is in the range of 200-240mAh.
210/7 = 30mA.
It looks like your device never enter deep sleep mode and may transmit too often.
You may use energy profiler tool to see check the current consumption.

What do you mean by 'real-time'? How often the TB2 and raspberry to communicate the data of temperature, humidity?
