Following the instructions in INS14281, I installed and configured the ZIP gateway on a RPi 3B+. I then used PC Controller on windows to connect to the gateway and add a node in the network.
Now I tried with pyzip under Ubuntu and I can't seem to make it work. I am getting "ImportError: No module named pyzwave.zip.ZIPFirmware" and I don't know what I'm missing and where to get pyzwave from - I searched the entire SDK for it.
If you know how to make pyzip start I would appreciate your help.
Unfortunately, we have an error in the released version of PyZ/IP 1.21 which are missing some files.
Hopefully, the attached version is working for you.
Today, I just download the latest "ZIP GW 2.81.02 Active.zip" SDK in you web, I found the "pyzip_ver1_21.zip" still missing some folders and fies. For example, the "pyzwave" folder still missing.
Do you know when We can download the formal/full file fo "pyzip_ver1_21.zip".
hello I am getting same type of error even though I have running the gui.py form the Zip suggested by the A.E.M. in previous replies.
pyzip_ver1_21.zip after extracting pyzip > pyzip > gui.py
root@raspberrypi:/home/pi/Desktop/source/pyzip/pyzip# python2 gui.py Traceback (most recent call last): File "gui.py", line 12, in <module> from FirmwareUpdateFrame import FirmwareUpdateFrame File "/home/pi/Desktop/source/pyzip/pyzip/FirmwareUpdateFrame.py", line 10, in <module> from pyzwave.zip.ZIPFirmware import ZW_Firmware, Waiter ImportError: No module named zip.ZIPFirmware
will you please help me to solve this problem?
I'm having the same error as well. files are missing.
The documentation is a mess... and on top of that missing files... How do you expect proper adoption if the official packages are broken???

Attached compressed pyzip shared above solves the problem... but please fix it on the main sources.
@ RON LUNA , Do you run the following commands one-by-one on your Raspberry Pi?
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install python-wxgtk3.0 --fix-missing
What can I do if i'm running on windows system ? I have set up wxPython3.0-win32-18.104.22.168-py27.exe and python27, but it also fail:
