The Mighty Gecko Wireless Starter Kit (SLWSTK6000B) includes an integrated debug adapter and provides access to a certified Zigbee software stack and sample code. Multiple radio boards enable developers to create a mesh network and evaluate Mighty Gecko Module and SoCs. The wireless starter kit comes with:
- 3 x Wireless starter kit mainboard
- 3 x EFR32MG12 2.4 GHz 19 dBm radio board
- 3 x EFR32MG12 2.4 GHz 10 dBm radio board
- AA Battery Board (supports running +19 from battery)
- Integrated debug and packet trace
Note: The Silicon Labs Gecko Software Development Kit (SDK) has support for IAR Embedded Workbench toolchain and the GNU Compiler Collection (GCC) toolchain but some of the dynamic multiprotocol examples for Zigbee, Thread, Bluetooth Low Energy and Proprietary Wireless can only be built using IAR Embedded Workbench toolchain. A 30-day trial license for IAR Embedded Workbench for ARM is available with the EFR32 Mighty Gecko Wireless Starter Kit.
Requirements for Stack Access
To access the Silicon Labs mesh software SDKs, customers need to purchase one of the mesh networking development kits such as the EFR32 Mighty Gecko Wireless Starter Kit, the EM35x Mesh Networking Development Kit or the Samsung ARTIK 030 Development Kit) Purchasing non-mesh wireless development kits like the Flex Gecko Development Tools, Blue Gecko Development Tools, ThunderboardTM IoT Kits (React, Sense and Sense 2) and ETRX Development Kits will not enable access to the Silicon Labs mesh software SDKs.
If you are a contract manufacturer for an existing Silicon Labs mesh customer, please contact your Silicon Labs sales representative.
